I love Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson series. I have seen Rick talk twice, and both times he signed a book for me. That's Rick and me below. He was speaking to me but my mom kept saying, "Look over here, Megan." I hope he didn't think I was being rude! One of my dreams is to go to the real Camp Halfblood in Texas, where Rick Riordan lives.
If you haven't already seen it, check out the movie The Lightning Thief. While it's definately different from the book, it was still really awesome, especially the digital effects.
